Bucks Squash are committed to making our sports accessible and fun for all standards, however, we also have a full development pathway for both juniors and seniors looking to improve their playing levels and progress into club, county and even national competitions.
County Programme
Our county programme acts as the first stepping stone onto the talent pathway. Working with the support of our member clubs and their own junior coaching structures, those individuals with the ability and desire can enter our county coaching structure to continue to develop their skills and potentially represent Bucks in County competitions.
Competitions & events:
During the season, there are hundreds of squash and Squash 57 events taking place around the country throughout the year for seniors and masters.
Bucks Squash have our own senior and masters competition structure including; leagues, ladders, and tournament events. These events are a mixture of individual and team competitions, and can lead to selection for county and regional sides.
Our County Closed tournament typically takes place in February for seniors and March for juniors.

Inter-county championships:
Bucks Squash enter teams in the Inter County Championships where more than 2,000 players represent their counties in 22 categories throughout the season across senior, masters and junior categories.
The Senior Championships provide competitive opportunities for players beyond club level in a team environment, and the opportunity to represent their county.
The event is split up into two weekends, Division One and Premier.

Sanctioned Competitions:
In addition to our Bucks Squash internal county competitions, we also support our most promising players to enter England Squash national sanctioned competitions. Held throughout the country, these cater to all levels of ability, offering a fun, enjoyable and competitive experience for junior players. There are up to 100 competitions per season which are run by qualified tournament organisers, catering for boys and girls at Under 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 age groups.
Results from these events count towards an England Squash ranking and are the next stepping stone towards regional and national level recognition.
